Big Ruling in Mohali: Pastor Bajinder Singh Faces Life Imprisonment

A Mohali court has sentenced self-proclaimed pastor Bajinder Singh, who was found guilty in a rape case, to life imprisonment. The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Vikrant Kumar has sentenced him to life imprisonment. Bajinder Singh claims to perform miracles in his meetings. Many times celebrities also attend his meetings. However, for the past few years, he has been in constant controversies. Another rape case is also registered against him.

Life Sentence in Rape Case

 Five other accused in the case - Akbar Bhatti, Rajesh Chaudhary, Jatinder Kumar, Sitar Ali and Sandeep Pehelwan - were acquitted. One of the accused, Sucha Singh, died during the trial.

Mohali's Big Verdict

. Bajinder Singh was arrested from Delhi airport in 2018 itself. He was later released on bail. On March 3, the court had issued non-bailable warrants against Bajinder and 5 other accused. .

Pastor Bajinder Singh Jailed for Life

Another rape case has been registered against Bajinder Singh on 28 February. A 22-year-old woman had accused Bajinder Singh of sexual harassment. After this, the police formed a three-member team for investigation. Bajinder Singh, on the other hand, called the allegations against him baseless. On 25 March, Mohali Police had registered a case against the pastor for assault and other charges. A few days ago, a video of the pastor went viral on social media, in which he was allegedly arguing with a woman and slapping her.
